BBC Sound Of 2010 - Who Deserves To Win?

By NME Blog

Just like TV Christmas ads starting in October, the 'tips for next year' industry chatter kicks in earlier each year.

Ellie Goulding, Delphic and Marina And The Diamonds seem to be the names generating the most heat right now - and if you've been paying attention to Jaimie Hodgson's Radar blog, you'll know we're right behind The Drums. So much so, they're playing our tour in January.

We'll be doing our own Bands For 2010 issue in January.

For now, the BBC have announced their Sound Of 2010 longlist, based on tips from music biz folk. Winners in previous years have included Adele and Little Boots.

What do you think of the list below? Any glaring omissions? And who do you think will win, when the result is announced in January?

Oh, and no comments from PRs please, we're on to you...

Daisy Dares You

Delphic

Marina And The Diamonds
