1. Black Mountain – ‘The Hair Song’
Canada’s Black Mountain have just released another single from their forthcoming album, ‘Wilderness Heart’ (out September 14th). This follow-up to ‘Old Fangs’ is a track you can really just rock out to. Vocalist Amber Webber told Spinner, “We tried the song a few different ways and nothing seemed to work…We ditched it for a bit and then came back to it, and that’s when it became not-so-minimal.”

8. Jenny Wilson – ‘Like A Fading Rainbow’
Another excellent free track courtesy of Urban Outfitters, this one’s from Swedish singer-songwriter Jenny Wilson. She can do some amazing things with her voice, and this song’s got a lot of soul. This track’s off her 2009 album ‘Hardships!’.

9. Sean Bones – ‘Let’s Do Something Else’
If you gave Belle and Sebastian a bit more groove and funk, it might sound something like this. The video (which you can watch below) features a crowd of people in funny costumes riding children’s bikes in the rain – which looks just as fun as the song sounds.
