To celebrate Record Store Day 2011, independent Leeds label and Radar favourite Brew Records (Castrovalva, Hawk Eyes, Humanfly, Kong, These Monsters) has joined forces with Yorkshire’s Dance To The Radio (¡Forward, Russia!, Holy State, Grammatics) to put out a limited edition 10” vinyl split. Plus Castrovalva have given us a track to give away for free.

Claiming it’s to “honour the Royal Wedding” as well as RSD, we’re not so sure Kate and Wills would approve of the ear drum destroying tracks that come out of the EP. You can pick it up for any Royal Wedding tea party you’re planning here.

Featuring fellow Leeds band and mates of Castrovalva, Hawk Eyes, as well as Blacklisters and Dolphins – the tracklisting for the EP is:

1) Dolphins – ‘Escape’
2) Blacklisters – ‘Clubfoot By Kasabian’
3) Castrolvalva – ‘Senorita’
4) Hawk Eyes – ‘Yes, Have Some’

There’s also a launch show on Friday April 22 at The Brudenell Social Club, Leeds – where all the bands will be performing. You can buy tickets here.

To celebrate Record Store Day, the release of the EP, and of course the Royal Wedding, Castrovalva have given us album track Bison Scissor Kick to give away to you lot for free. Just right click and save as on this link.
