Faith No More To Reform - Could They Play Reading?

By Luke Lewis

According to US music blog Idolator, Faith No More are set to reunite for a European tour this summer.

Which surely calls for a bit of this by way of celebration:

And here's 'Epic' live from Rock In Rio in front of about 100,000 kids going mental.

And a late-period track, released just before they split in 1998, 'Ashes To Ashes'.

As someone who loves Mike Patton's voice, but who has grown increasingly weary of the great rock eccentric's latterday fondness for experimental grindcore/post-metal/avant-skronk kazoo/flugelhorn odyssies at the expense of actual songs, I'm incredibly excited by this news.

Faith No More for Reading 2009? It has a certain ring to it...
