1. Foals – ‘One’ (Swedish House Mafia cover)’
Yannis and his gang stopped by Radio 1’s Live Lounge recently, where they performed hit single ‘Spanish Sahara’, as well as this impressive cover of Swedish House Mafia’s summertime dance tune ‘One’. Keep the house music covers coming, Foals.

2. Surfer Blood – ‘Box Elder’ (Pavement cover)
This cover song comes straight from the Halfway House Sessions, part of a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based music blog. The band stopped by to perform some familiar tunes, an unreleased song, ‘I’m Not Ready’, as well as this rendition of the Pavement classic. 3. Mount Kimbie – ‘Ruby’ (Recorded Live at Berghain, Berlin)’
If you’re as exited for the electro/dubstep-duo’s EP (‘Blind Night Errand’) release on November 29th as we are, then you’ll be just as happy to have this free download to tide you over for a bit. Enjoy this live recording from Berlin of the song off their debut album, ‘Crooks and Lovers’.

4. Coheed and Cambria – ‘World Of Lines’ (Johnny Whitney remix)
Remix of the week goes to Johnny Whitney (of Jaguar Love and The Blood Brothers) for his remix of ‘World Of Lines’, from Coheed and Cambria’s latest album, ‘Year of the Black Rainbow’. It's the perfect mix of prog-rock and electro.

5. Sleigh Bells – ‘Tell ‘Em’ (Kingdom remix)
Chances are you’re familiar with the original track from Sleigh Bells, and have fallen in love with it several times. Well, here’s one more chance to fall in love again – this time, thanks to Kingdom. Head over to his official website for some other free tracks, including his dub version of Sean Kingston and Nicki Minaj’s ‘Letting Go’.

6. Suckers – 'A Mind I Knew' (Baryshnikov remix)

7. The Good Natured – ‘Be My Animal’ (Zebra & Snake Remix)
Here’s a remix of the latest release from 19-year-old Sarah McIntosh, aka The Good Natured. The single will be released on November 1st via Kids and will also contain B-side track ‘Prisoner’. If you like her stuff, you can also download her remix of ‘Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves)’, the new single from The Wombats, here (and it’s free, too).

8. The Go! Team - 'T.O.R.N.A.D.O.'
This Brighton-based sextet will be heading out on a 20-date UK tour in February (their first UK tour for three years)…but that’s not the only exciting news from the band. Their new album, ‘Rolling Blackoutsis’, will be out on January 31st via Memphis Industries, and will feature cameo vocals from Deerhoof’s Satomi Matsuzaki and Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino…and it will include this hot little number called ‘T.O.R.N.A.D.O.'.

9. A-Trak feat. CyHi Da Prynce - 'Ray Ban Vision'
This track will appear on the upcoming ‘Fool’s Gold Vol. 1’ compilation, which will be out on October 25th – but you can download it for free now. DJ A-trak wrote on his website: “I don’t think CyHi is up on my Sunglasses Is A Must [his clothing line] past so I was amused when he chose this theme for the song…and now I have this song about shades. Am I like the accessories guy now? At this point I’m thinking if I send Murs a beat he’ll make a song about murses. Not a bad idea…”

10. Keepaway - 'Sideways Smile'
This Brooklyn trio will soon be releasing a free, digital-only collection of songs titled ‘Kompetitor’, and this is the first track from it. According to the band, the release will include “some music from what’s next, some music from the last few months, some visuals, some ‘remixes’ … Kompetitor is where the past, present, and future collide.”
