We’ve got a few new additions to NME’s metal section, including videos from Funeral For A Friend and Lower Than Atlantis. Take a look below.

Funeral For A Friend – ‘Front Row Seats To The End of The World’

The band are set to release their fifth studio album ‘Welcome Home Armageddon’ on March 14th through Distiller Records. This new track, featuring vocals from drummer Ryan Richards, will be available as a free download at the end of January.

Richards says of the song, “It was a lot of fun for me to do a lead vocal again on a track, as it’s probably something I’ve not done since way back on the first record – and even then it was a co-vocal with Matt on tracks like ‘Red Is The New Black’ and ‘This Year’s Most Open Heartbreak’. It’s also the first track I’ve ever done finger snaps on too! I remember reading the liner notes to Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’ and seeing him credited with ‘Vocals and Finger Snaps’ and it inspired me to one day be credited as such on one of our albums. I’ve now dreamed the dream – and it’s a beautiful thing.”

Funeral For A Friend will be hitting the road in March, along with support act Rise To Remain. Click here for tour dates and tickets.

Lower Than Atlantis – ‘Beech Like The Tree’

The Hertfordshire quartet are releasing their second album, ‘World Record’, on April 4th. This track is currently Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record in The World’ on R1. You can get the single on February 14th.
