This week's free MP3 round-up has around 55 songs collectively, so get started on the downloading and make some space available on your iPods. There are some good ones that you don't want to miss.

1. Gorillaz – ‘Crystalised’ (The xx cover)
This is one of the most exciting BBC session covers to pop up recently – and it sounds even better than we could have expected it to. The Gorillaz + The xx = perfection.

2. Gang Of Four – Free EP
If you’re a Gang Of Four fan and you’re eager for new tunes, good news! They’ve unleashed a free three-track EP, with new version of ‘Glass’, a brand new song called ‘Sleeper’, and a remix of ‘I Party All The Time’. And if that’s not enough for you, they’ll be releasing ‘Content, their first album in sixteen years, on January 24th.

3. Fenech-Soler – ‘Battlefields’ (Live SSR Session)
If you don’t mind adding yourself to Fenech-Soler’s mailing list, then you can download a special SSR (School of Sound Recording) and Salford City Radio recording of their hit song ‘Battlefields’ for free. Do it, it’s great.

4. Robert Francis – Free EP
LA-based singer-songwriter Robert Francis is arriving in the UK this week for a show at London’s Borderline. To kick things off, he’s giving away a three-track digital EP, including a session version of ‘Junebug’, a live version of ‘Mescaline’ from Paris and a cover of Rolling Stones’ ‘Wild Horses’. You can get his new album, ‘Before Nightfall’, on December 5th.

5. The Count & Sinden – ‘Addicted To You’ (I Killed Kenny Remix)
The Count & Sinden teamed up with Bashy for their latest single ‘Addicted To You’, and the track’s been remixed quite a lot. Here’s a killer one from London-based DJ duo I Killed Kenny (who also happen to have a great name).

6. RCRD LBL’s Thanksgiving Mixes
Our buddies over at RCRD LBL gave away a couple of exclusive mixes last week as a Thanksgiving celebration. If you’d like to partake, then “like” the website over at their Facebook page and download away. Clare Maguire, The Pipettes, Sleigh Bells, Young Jeezy...it’s got all the good stuff.

7. The Phenomenal Handclap Band – ‘The Journey To Serra Da Estrela’ (Fujiya & Miyagi Remix)
We hear these New Yorkers are heading back to the studio soon to work on a new album. In anticipation, they’ve released a collection of remixes of their 2009 debut album, including this one from the lovely Fujiya & Miyagi. If you want to pick up a copy of ‘Remixes’, you’ll also get edits from Clock Opera, Munk, Coco Electrik and more.

8. Engineers – ‘In Praise Of More’
You’ve got until December 31st to download this collection of 13 free tracks courtesy of SPIN Magazine – with Cloud Nothings, The Pipettes, The Fresh & Onlys, and this one from the Engineers. ‘In Praise Of More’ is from their third album, of the same title, which is out now.

9. We Are Enfant Terrible – ‘Wild Child’ (Chew Lips Remix)
The Parisian trio We Are Enfant Terrible will be releasing their new single ‘Wild Child’ on December 6th, and it will include this remix from Chew Lips. If you dig what you hear, you can get the trio’s new EP, ‘Wild Fish’, which will be out on January 17th. It’s got other remixes of the track from Juiceboxxx and Paanik, as well as four original tracks.

10. Tron Legacy: The Mixtape
Daft Punk aren’t the only ones musically inspired by the new Disney film – Cadence Weapon (rapper, poet and writer) has just released a new mixtape on his website, named after the next instalment of TRON. And although it’s got little to do with the film, it’s got a wicked line-up of samples (rapping over music from the likes of Arcade Fire, Sleigh Bells, Big Boi and Jay-Z). So head over to his site, pay however little or much you like, and download 18 new tracks.
