Your weekly serving of the ten best free MP3s on the web this week:

1. Grace Jones – ‘Williams'’ Blood (Aeroplane Remix) (Radio Edit)
There’s always room for some new Grace Jones, especially now that she’s returning to the spotlight. Might a collab with Gaga be in the works? We can only imagine the bizarre lengths they’d go to for wowing a crowd together. Anyway, Ms. Jones will be releasing a special edition of her 2008 album ‘Hurricane’ on September 5th, which promises “a new, dark dynamic”. Check out this remix of the album’s track ‘Williams’ Blood’ by Aeroplane below.

2. Lil Wayne – ‘Sorry 4 The Wait’ Mixtape
Weezy’s such a polite guy – who knew? After finally setting a release date for his next album, ‘Tha Carter IV’ (and that release date will be August 29th), he’s also decided to give away a free 12-track mixtape, titled ‘Sorry 4 The Wait’. And you can download it over at weezythanxyou.com. Aww, it’s OK, we forgive you Weezy. The mixtape features the likes of Drake, Kreayshawn and Lil B.

3. Zola Jesus – ‘Vessel’
Zola Jesus has just rolled out yet another one of her eerily dark, gothly-charming ballads, which can be found on her forthcoming ‘Conatus’ LP (due out September 26th via Souterrain Transmissions). Want to hear it live? She’s announced a special one-off album launch show on the same day at Toynbee Hall.

4. Wugazi – ’13 Chambers’
Ever thought you’d see a full album merging Wu-Tang with Wugazi? Never say never. Minneapolis-based producers Cecil Otter and Swiss Andy (under the alias Wugazi) spent a year splicing together tracks from the two acts. If you’re a fan of ‘90s music and have a very eclectic taste, then this may very well be right up your alley.

5. Blitzen Trapper – ‘American Goldwing’
As I write this blog, Dolly Parton is blasting out of the speakers in the NME office. So to coincide with this lovely country music-filled morning I’m having, here’s a new one from Blitzen Trapper. Check out the title track from their next album (out September 12th through Sub Pop) below. It’s full of “heavy guitar riffs and blasting drum fills” with “plucking banjos, wailing harmonicas and muddy slide guitars” that will “make you want to get loaded and get in a fight, or find a girl and fall in love forever, simultaneously,” …or so vocalist Mark Earley promises.

6. Chromeo – ‘When The Night Falls’ (Hercules And Love Affair Remix)
I’ve got a rather long-standing love affair with Hercules And Love Affair. They’re just one of those acts that are utterly impossible to sit still to while listening to them. Throw Chromeo and Solange Knowles into the mix and we’ve got a rave bottled up into a tiny MP3 file. Enjoy!

7. Cymbals Eat Guitars – ‘Rifle Eyesight (Proper Name)’
In the mood for eight minutes of ‘90s-style insanity? Take a whiff of this new one from New Jersey’s Cymbals Eat Guitars. It’s the first bit to be released from their next album, ‘Lenses Alien’, out August 22nd via Memphis Industries. Download the tune for free (in exchance for an email address) over on their official website.

8. Toro y Moi – ‘Saturday Love’
So, the last song to highlight days of the week didn’t go over very well with the general public. But we can safely say that Toro Y Moi’s attempt trumps Rebecca Black’s. Although, we doubt the promo video (if he releases one) could ever be as fun to watch (erm, mock). This track’s taken from his forthcoming EP, ‘Freaking Out’.

9. Cerebral Ballzy – ‘Don’t Tell me What To Do’
Here’s a little firecracker of a tune, clocking in at a little over one minute long. In the words of singer Honor Titus, this bad boy is about “being young and choosing to be exactly who you wanna be. A barrage of complaints, a rejection of order, the song is about throwing away your TV Guide and writing your own story."

10. Kurt Vile - ’Baby’s Arms’
Or if you’d rather take it down a notch with something a little more soothing, try Kurt Vile’s gorgeous new single, ‘Baby’s Arms’. He’s also just released an accompanying video, filmed on the Windows Phone by Todd Cole. You can find this song on Kurt’s album ‘Smoke Ring For My Halo’.
