Here's how to watch the anything-goes awards ceremony un the UK.

The MTV EMAs are 23 years old this year, and as such they’re among the most juvenile, worst behaved music awards ceremony out there. There have been some outrageous EMA moments. Remember the time P Diddy asked any female crowd member to undress in 2002, offering the winner a ring in exchange, and someone actually did it? Remember when Rick Astley won the ‘Best Act Ever’ award in 2008 after a load of trolls hijacked the voting? Remember in 2013, when Miley Cyrus lit up a spliff onstage while accepting her award (but in Amsterdam, so it was actually kinda meh)? You’re gonna want to see what happens this time round – so here’s how to watch the MTV EMAs 2016 in the UK.

What time are the EMAs on?

They’re on Sunday November 6, at 8pm UK time.

How can I watch the MTV EMAs in the UK?

You’ll need to stream it on MTV. You can get access to this with an Amazon Fire Stick (£33) or NOW TV (£6.99 for a monthly Entertainment Pass).

What are this year’s big MTV EMA nominee stories?

Indie gets a nice nod in the Best Push category with Blossoms, who are up against a load of pop acts like Halsey and Joe Jonas’ new band DNCE. The most nominated acts are Bieber and Beyoncé with five nominations apiece. Adele has four, and there are three nods per person for Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Kanye West, Drake and Rihanna.
