Now that we’ve all had a chance to recuperate from the Reading/Leeds/Carnival/bank holiday weekend, it’s time to share some free music downloads with you. This week we’ve got some live tracks, some covers, some collaborations and some mashups. As always, share your thoughts below.

1. Kanye West feat. Bon Iver, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minas– ‘Monster’
Kanye recently dropped this new track on his Twitter. Taken from ‘Watch the Throne’, his five-song EP with Jay-Z, the rapper promised to release a new song from the EP every Friday. And while you’re at his Twitter, you can pick up his remix of Justin Bieber’s ‘Runaway Love’ for free, as well.

3/4. Lady Gaga – ‘Livin’ On the Radio’/’You and I’
Guess what – there’s some new Gaga for all you little monsters out there. She recently debuted these two tracks live, so they’re not the greatest quality. But you can get a taste of some of her new material.

8. The Pretty Reckless – ‘Islands/Love the Way You Lie’ (Acoustic)
Here’s something we weren’t expecting: Gossip Girl starlet Taylor Momsen’s band stopped by Radio 1’s Live Lounge and recorded an acoustic mashup of The xx and Rihanna. Whether or not you approve of the 17-year-old’s rebellious ways and her black eyeliner overload, this is a pretty cool mashup.

9. Monotonix – ‘Give Me More’
Here’s a new, rowdy raucous of a track from Tel Aviv, Israel-based band Monotonix. ‘Give Me More’ is from the band’s sessions with Steve Albini, and will be on their forthcoming album due out next year.

10. The War On Drugs – ‘Comin’ Through’
Get ready for a new EP, ‘Future Weather’, from Philly-based band The War On Drugs. They can’t seem to get away from the Bob Dylan comparisons, which we can definitely still hear in this. And we totally dig it. You can get the EP on October 26th.
