Kanye West talked about a lot of things in his recent interview with Steve McQueen. One of those things was astrology. (Yep, we're going there.) The rapper revealed he has the same star sign - Gemini - as Tupac, Biggie, Prince and Miles Davis.

"I'd be biased to think that the community of Geminis is the most consistently in tune with what their spirit is telling them to do or why they have breath in their lungs," said Yeezy. "But I do think that creative Geminis—Tupac, Biggie, Prince, Miles Davis, all being Geminis - have, throughout history, been really in tune with those things."

So far, so cray, right? This prompted us to do our own investigation and - we don't want to panic you or anything - we think we might have just made the most extraordinary discovery.

Through highly scientific and detailed research involving a significant amount of Googling we uncovered that (as well as Kanye, Tupac, Biggie, Prince and Miles Davis) Paul McCartney, Matt Bellamy, Kendrick Lamar, Noel Gallagher, Lionel Richie, Lenny Kravitz, Bob Dylan, André 3000, Azealia Banks, Kevin Shields, Alanis Morrissette and Morrissey can be added to the list of incredible musicians who also happen to be Geminis.

Compare the talent of that crowd to the Pisces artists, including will.i.am, Peter Andre, Flavor Flav, Adam Levine, Bieber, Ke$ha, Bow Wow and Josh Groban, and there's quite a stark difference. (Although Kurt Cobain and Ian Brown are also Pisces fishies.)

This comes as no surprise to professional astrologer Paul Wade, who goes by the alias Astrology Wizard. He describes Geminis as being versatile, intelligent, communicative, spontaneous, witty, nervous, superficial and cunning.

"Gemini’s interests are diverse and always changing, plus they require a lot of intellectual stimulation," says Paul. "They are smart, born communicators, often clever lyricists and like getting their message over."

Sounds spookily like Kanye, right? Paul says Yeezy and other Geminis have those traits because "the constellation of Gemini governs intelligence, communication and the mind". Appaz they're ruled by the planet Mercury. "If you think about quicksilver, it is a notoriously elusive substance to pin down."

Now, you might want to take a little breather for a moment, because as we widened our highly scientific and detailed research we discovered yet more musicians with personality traits seemingly dictated by their star sign.

NME

Take Drake, the sensitive, emo rapper. He's a Scorpio. Can you guess what they're famous for?

"Being overly sensitive and a bit emotional is what the sign of Scorpio is all about," says Paul. "Although they’ll try to keep this secret if they can."

Loads of super-driven super-successful female performers are Aries. (We're talking Jessie J, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Victoria Beckham and, of course, Joss Stone). Is that a coincidence? Hell, no! "Their star sign gives them the energy and the drive to succeed at what they do," says Paul. "Plus, being ruled by Mars they aren’t afraid of drawing attention to themselves."

Finally (and most importantly) Paul says people with the star sign Sagittarius are "famous for not knowing when to stop". Guess who's a Sagittarius? Miley Cyrus. Know what Miley Cyrus called the first single from her 'Bangerz' album? 'We Can't Stop'. Seriously, we can't handle anymore. It seems we've single-handedly proved star signs are true.

Before we leave you to let that all sink in, here's an answer to the question we've all been wondering: is Kanye going to have a good 2014?

"I’d say so," says Paul. "Especially once Jupiter pops back over his ascendant in May and is joined by his progressed Moon from October. Subsequently, cosmic trends look great for earning money and for spending it too."

Yep. We totally agree.
