To mark their NME cover feature this week, Klaxons are taking over NME.COM all week.

The band have already delivered their inimitable verdict on this week's news, and taken us through the records they were listening to while making 'Surfing The Void'. They also sent us the video for 'Echoes' first and have loads more hi-jinx lined up for the next few days, so keep your eyes open for more Klaxons-related content...

Plus they spoke to us on the set of their NME cover shoot and even treated us to a guide to forward rolls...

The band are looking after the Daily Download for a few days too, and have cherry-picked some tracks for your MP3 needs.

First up, Jaimie Reynolds bigs up The Cabin Fever: “They're my friend’s band from Southampton. They’re kind of lo-fi outsider pop with Daniel Hall singing about his ideas, philosophies and life experiences. I’d recommend them to them to anyone who’s a fan of experimental pop music.”

Download The Cabin Fever's 'Where Are You?' here and pick up 'It's All Here' on last year's Radar blog here.

Next up, Simon Taylor-Davis bigs up Smith Westerns. “A song I’m really into at the moment is Smith Westerns' ‘Girl In Love’. The track has got a weird, scuzzy, glam vibe to it, although it's also a love song. I have a funny feeling that glam is gonna come back in a weird kind of way.”

To grab the track, hit up this RCRD LBL post from last summer, and while you're stocking up on Smith Westerns goodness, download 'Be My Girl' and 'Imagination Pt 3' from the Radar blog.

Klaxons talk shamen, studio meltdowns and a lizard who showed them God in this week's comeback cover interview:
