First up today, something Not Safe For Work, the video for Lawrence Arabia's 'Apple Pie Bed', in all its floppy-fleshed silk panties 'n' erotique masked glory:

'Apple Pie Bed' is the second track from the quirky pop hope's debut album 'Chant Darling', which came out in January. The New Zealand-bred singer has been likened to LA's Girls, and he does have the same kind of vibe, if a bit quirkier and less intense (in fact the video above is the perfect tongue-in-cheek counterpart to Girls' hardcore porn vid for 'Lust For Life').

Next, Acrylics. If you've ever laid around in bed all day blasting 80s Fleetwood Mac (like our very own Luke Lewis) or more recently maybe Chairlift's more lethargic moments, this should be up your strasse - a lush, wispy pop beauty with maximum production gloss from none other than Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor. This is the orig:

The band sent us a very special stripped down pedal guitar version. Download it here. The single's out on February 22nd and the band hit the UK on Monday (15th) for three London dates (details on their MySpace).

Stop reading if you're not from the US. If you are, Nylon's 27 track mixtape available at iTunes (featuring Grizzly Bear, Fever Ray, The Horrors and loads more) has a week or two left until they take it down. Details here.
Fader have joined the Yeasayer remix party, offering The Very Best's take on 'Ambling Alp' - get it here
