Let’s… Play… Movie Stars?! Darts Pin-Ups Pose As Iconic Film Characters In This Bizarre New Calendar

Ever wished blockbuster movies had more darts in them? Ever wished action heroes looked a bit more like darts players? Well, wish no more! A limited edition calendar produced by Now TV to mark the William Hill World Darts Championships features heroes of the oche dressed up as legendary moments in movie history.

In the ‘Men Of Darts’ calendar, Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor turns his arrer into a buttonhole to take on the role of Vito Corleone from The Godfather, PDC World Champion Gary Anderson cracks the whip as Indiana Jones and James ‘The Machine’ Wade obviously transforms into the Terminator. Come December 2016, Anderson, Wade, Adrian Lewis, Peter Wright and current world number one Michael van Gerwen pose as The Usual Suspects.

Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor said: “I always look forward to the World Darts Championship at Ally Pally and the calendar was a fun way for some of the players to have a bit of fun beforehand. The Godfather is also one my favourite films, so it was great creating the look but I also loved seeing what the others recreated – especially The Usual Suspects shot!”
