Lee Scratch Perry has turned the tables on Gang Gang Dance today, and added his own beats and vocals to 'Mindkilla' from their top-five-album-of-2011-no-doubt effort 'Eye Contact'.
There's no gentle handling here, Perry's created a version completely his own from the outset, stitching his own words around Lizzie's originals and replacing the beat for a more reggae heavy offering.
Listen to it on their MySpace. One for late night Glasto sessions for sure. Download it here.
Metronomy's most epic new track 'The Bay' has been reworked by Erol Alkan meanwhile, who's turned it from a desolate cove into a fully funky beachside rave spot.
You can get it on iTunes along with mixes from 2 Bears and Stopmakingme now.
