I've had the new album from Our Broken Garden on repeat this week. The LP (called 'Golden Sea' and out on Bella Union on 18th October) is a bit of an ethereal masterpiece from the Danish collective, all drifting female vocals (from Efterklang keyboardist Anna Bronsted), hypnotic piano and mournful strings - a bit like Bat For Lashes cast adrift into a foggy, choppy ocean. Beautiful stuff that makes you want to move somewhere wet and windy and coastal and grow a beard. Check out 'Garden Grow', one of the most lively offerings.

Neon Indian meanwhile, if you've been paying attention at the back, are no strangers to this blog and make a very welcome return to the UK TONIGHT (Sept 2nd) at Cargo, followed by loads of dates all round the country. This is Class Actress' take on 'Terminally Chill'.
