New Music - TNGHT, 'Acrylics'

'Acrylics', a new track from TNGHT, starts with the tinkles of a musical ballerina jewellry box before the melodies are picked up by grimy, warped synths and laid over timpani bashes and military-style rhythms. At about 1.27 it breaks down into an - as Zane Lowe described the track on his show last night - absolutely disgusting dubstep-style breakdown that sounds like Roald Dahl's Gizzardgulper and Bloodbottler giants marching around and looking for children to eat. It's kinda bitty and definitely not their best track to date but it'll go down a treat in festival dance tents this summer.
