On Saturday I battled shit weather, (and a relentless torrent of X-Factor-related Twitterers. Look at the musical legacy you're willingly contributing to!), to commandeer a deserted basement studio and deliver another two hours of brand new music on NME Radio.

From fresh Late of the Pier to psychedelic Brooklynites Small Black it's all fully listed and linked up below.

Don't tell me. You missed the live show. Relax! I'm excited to say that plans to establish some kind of weekly listen-again service have been hatched. And as soon as those plans emerge from within my head, are discussed in greater detail with a third party and actually acted upon, I'll be the first to let you know. Yes I will. Until then, enjoy the new bands, artists and songs off your own back, and feel the benefit of not having some inane chimp gobguffing trivialities between every other song.

While I'm here, you might like to know there's also a full archive of New Noise tracklists over here, or at least there will be a full archive of New Noise tracklists when I've posted them all. Shocking.

I'll be back with the official NME Chart on Monday morning from 10, plus every day next week between 10am and Midday I'll be playing out tracks from my Album of the Week - 'Let It Bleep' by Royal Bangs, and my Single of the Week, the mind-bendingly ace return of Castle Donington's Late of the Pier. Along with a genuinely alternative bunch of decent music, new and old.

Come say hello. (Or dont bother and just merely listen for a bit).
