Pete Robertson Of The Vaccines’ Remix Of All We Are’s ‘Honey’ Turns The Track Into A Darkly Atmospheric Gem

The Vaccines’ hedonistic rock’n’roll clatter and Liverpool trio All We Are’s self-described “Bee Gees on Diazepam” pop might not be the most obvious bedfellows, but now the two tribes have joined forces and the result is more than the sum of its parts.

Taking All We Are’s recent sultry pop nugget ‘Honey’ and adding some gritty synth parts and a more prominent, propulsive beat, Vaccines drummer Pete Robertson has turned the track from doe-eyed innocent to dark-hearted vamp. Singer Guro Gikling’s delicate croon offsets the transformation perfectly.
