Delphic sent us a couple of mixes last week to celebrate selling out their Shockwaves NME Awards show at Cargo, firstly their reworking of every blogger's favourite Phoenix's album track 'Fences' into a seven minute space-funk epic and also a Doc Daneeka edit of their own single 'Doubt'.

Something entirely different I've been caning recently are the demos of Chattanooga electro-popsters Summer Dregs. If you haven't heard of them worry not, they're more of a sub-Radar level band right now (ie shiny and new) but with the right exposure could do pretty well. Think Memory Tapes-esque sepia-guided melodies and washed out, dream-ridden soundscapes. Nice stuff but don't take my word for it; download Summer Dregs' History here and let me know what you think.
