"We don't really think our songs are about anything in particular," says Tom Baxter of Pipes. "I think we're all more interested in creating something loud and cathartic rather than meaningful in terms of lyrical content."
The London trio has been in the studio with wonder-producer Rory Bratwell and this fantastic racket is the first fruit of their labour.
"Vocals function more as a separate instrument," Tom explains. "It's definitely about sound more than lyrics. If you want narrative, read a book, we say."
