This Glaswegian act pull a Merrill Garbus, making great music but insisting on driving us mad with the infuriating alternating caps lock in their name. But hey, we can forgive tUnE-yArDs, so we'll forgive SHe'S HiT.

She's Hit

We've been given a free download of 'Miriam Hollow', the opening track on their debut album 'Pleasure' (out June 6th). The band recently provided Artrocker with a track-by-track guide to the album, if you're curious as to what to expect from the garage punk newcomers.

Here's what they had to say about 'Miriam Hollow': "This song really came together in the studio, Phil and Cammy had been working on it but it was lacking something. Emily (McLaren, studio engineer) played bass on this one and after a few plays she totally understood it, it's all about that motorik rhythm from the bass and drums and the counter rhythms from the guitar."

If you're a Londoner, you can catch SHe'S HiT playing the Bull & Gate on June 6th (to coincide with the album release). And with comparisons to the likes of Iggy And The Stooges, Jesus And Mary Chain, The Cramps and My Bloody Valentine, it's likely to be one raucous show.
