Get ready to wave goodbye to your synapses again - South Central are on the comeback trail. The Brighton duo, famed for their heavy metal dance gigs supporting Rage, Pendulum and Prodigy, have finally finished fiddling with their debut album proper 'Society Of The Spectacle'.
The LP will be out soon via their own Egregore records, preceded by 'Demons', which is coming out on Vitalic's Citizen label. It's pretty brutal stuff, and with this kind of heritage we'd expect nothing less:

The track is also remixable via the Fireplayer iPhone app. If you like what you hear go get South Central's Empire Of The Sun bootleg and 'Higher State' on previous posts.
On a slightly more mellow tip, San Francisco's Fresh And Onlys, who make their Daily Download debut with a clatter of vintage guitar lines and timeless melodies. In The Red just snapped the foursome up and will release their third album of lush West Coast garage pop, 'Play It Strange', on October 25th.

Johnny Foreigner, a band more known for berserk riot pop than stripped down tunes (in particular the brilliant 'Salt, Peppa and Spinderalla') have unleashed an unexpected cover of Sparklehorse's 'The Most Beautiful Widow In Town'. Get it here.
If you liked any of the Bristolian dubstep stuff we posted a while back, head to Sonic Router now; they're giving away a big new tune from Gemmy called 'The 1987 Bounce'
