'Spanish Sahara' Is Our Track Of The Year - What's Yours?

Yesterday we revealed that These New Puritans' 'Hidden' was our album of 2010. Now we're looking at our tracks of the year, and the winner is... Foals, 'Spanish Sahara'.

An ever-building, morbid masterpiece inspired both by Greek myth and singer Yannis' experience of seeing a dead dog floating in the waves (worst beach holiday ever), it's hardly your average beer-flinging indie-disco anthem. 'Spanish Sahara' is subtle, mysterious, cryptic - it creates a filmic world of its own that you want to crawl inside.

The full tracks of 2010 list is here. Meanwhile, here's the rest of our top 10:

1.Foals - Spanish Sahara
2.MIA - XXXO
3.Janelle Monae - Tightrope
4.Kanye West - Power
5.Arcade Fire - We Used To Wait
6.Gorillaz - Stylo
7.Surfer Blood - Swim (To Reach The End)
8.Grinderman - Heathen Child
9.Zola Jesus - Night
10.The Fall - Bury Pts 2+4
