On Monday night, Spoon played a "secret" show at L.A.'s flamenco dinner-theater restaurant El Cid (it didn't stay secret for long, thanks to Twitter), in celebration of the release of their seventh studio album, Transference. Despite the pissing rain outside (yes, sometimes it DOES rain in Southern California), fans queued up for as long as three hours in the downpour to catch the band's intimate, 90-minute set on El Cid's tented patio.
