However, after releasing the third highest grossing film of all time in ‘The Force Awakens’, how can Disney hope to bring fans closer to the Star Wars world short of literally putting them in a movie? Wait a minute…

Yup, that’s right. Announced late last year, Star Wars Land is a 14-acre theme park dedicated entirely to that galaxy far, far away, currently being built in Orlando, Florida and Anaheim, California. The original space scoundrel introduced an exclusive preview of Star Wars Land during ABC TV special ‘The Wonderful World Of Disney: Disneyland 60’. Jedi-hopefuls will be able to join an X-Wing Starfighter battle on Hyperspace Mountain as well as visit special exhibits from the sets of the films. For the lightsaber-savvy among you there’s also the re-imagined Jedi Training Academy (no going Kylo Ren in there, mind), while those in need of a pick-me-up can stop by the local cantina. Be on your guard though, those space bars aren’t the friendliest places, as you well know…
