Steppin' Out With Wave Machines

I used to love wave machines, but like shoplifting and optimism, their appeal fades with age. Wave Machines, the band, have a more enduring charm. The Liverpool quartet released one of last year's most slept-on singles, the sweet and sweaty 'I Go I Go I Go' and they're back again with more twilight FM funk.

'Keep The Lights On' is high register, slow motion disco that flirts dangerously with Scissor Sisters, but recognising the despair in their dead, empty eyes, flees unmolested into the lonely night. You can download it for free from Wave Machines' smart new home.
