A lot of Jon Stewart's charisma on 'The Daily Show' stems from his personable, nice-guy charm - but he's even funnier when he's consumed with rage and hatred.

This eight-minute sustained attack on the catastrophic idiocy of financial 'experts' is almost balletic in the way it slowly, calmly builds up to a crescendo of exasperated swearing at the end.

There are shades, too, of the bit in 'The Day Today' when Chris Morris lambasts meek reporter Peter O-Hanra-Hanrahan: "Peter, you've lost the news!"
