The NME Chart Top 40 Revealed - 7th December 2009

There's a whole bundle of great new entries to the NME Chart this week. The highest debut comes from Bombay Bicycle Club with a track ('Always Like This') that NME Radio picked up on several months ago. Elsewhere and The Temper Trap and Yeasayer are among the newbies with Twin Atlantic also jumping in at number 12. Keep an eye on these boys - they might well end up being 2010's Biffy Clyro.

Florence retains her spot at the top for a third week running while Ian Brown makes an impressive leap from #39 to #7.

Tune in to NME Radio next Monday at 10am for the latest countdown, and don't forget you can watch the Top Ten on NME TV on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9am and 6pm, as the only chart Simon Cowell can't get his stinking paws on continues...
