Wow - we thought we'd heard some weird throat exercises in our time, but this lot take the title. Our basement studio was a cacophony of grunts, whoops, snake noises, wheezes and the sound of a peacock getting some rough last week as The Temper Trap limbered up for a live session.

It was worth it though. After a mad scramble looking for earplugs and a few false starts they unleashed some sublime versions of 'Love Lost', 'Sweet Disposition' and 'Science Of Fear', before heading into the main studio to tell us all about their escapades at Japan's Summer Sonic festival. Hear it all today from 4pm on Sky Channel 0184, Virgin Media 975, Freesat 727, DAB in London or NME.COM/Radio.
