Moby – ‘Shot In The Back Of The Head’
Courtesy of director David Lynch (‘Twin Peaks’, ‘Blue Velvet’), this promo tells a miserable tale through black and white imagery that will mess with your head – complete with gunshots to the head, lovers kissing and detached limbs falling in slow motion.
Innerpartysystem – ‘Heart Of Fire’
Innerpartysystem capture the highs and lows of life on tour – non-stop parties, one-night stands, red-eye flights with live shows in-between. They’re not complaining.
OK – ‘Tell The World’
The little-known Welsh four-piece play it safe with this low key, performance based promo, which is interrupted throughout by scenes of an animated factory worker producing vast amounts of ‘OK’ titled boxes. Though what’s inside is anyone’s guess.
Josh Weller – ‘Push’
What would you do if you could clone yourself? The Dorset raised songwriter and IT Crowd lookalike chooses to inflate balloons until they burst and invent a new dance that could well catch on – all in his best shirt and bowtie, of course.
St. Vincent – ‘Actor Out Of Work’
US singer Annie Clark focuses on lots of young folk competing for a job. The piece sees potential candidates’ fittingly lined up in an old hall, selling their credentials through song. The single is released on April 20.
