1. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross – The Social Network Score Sampler
Trenz Reznor and Atticus Ross have teamed up to create a score for the upcoming film The Social Network. The soundtrack will be available digitally on September 28th, but you can download a five-track sampler now. Reznor said of the project: “Musically, this all came out of our secret laboratory - electronic in basis, but mostly organic sounding. Lots of experiments and emphasis on sound fraying around the edges while focusing on the proper emotional tone for the various scenes.”

2. CocoRosie – ‘R.I.P. Burn Face’
Here’s the latest single from Parisian sisters CocoRosie, from their most recent album, ‘Grey Oceans’. It’s beautiful. Download it, you won’t regret it.

3. Japandroids – ‘Heavenward Grand Prix’
Japandroids are offering up their latest single for free – the third single in their 7” series. It includes this A-side track, as well as a B-side cover of PJ Harvey’s ‘Shame’. With only 2,000 copies, the series will produce five singles on limited edition vinyl and digitally.

4. Neon Indian – ‘I Really Didn’t Need You Anyway’
Frontman Alan Palomo performed this new song at Sirius Radio’s XMU recently – he said it’s a rough version and will be changed around quite a bit before being recorded in the studio, but here’s a taste of his new material.

5. Dominique Young Unique – ‘Blaster’
In case you missed it, we featured this rapper as a Radar Band Of The Week earlier this summer, and now she’s got a free track (‘Blaster’) online, from her EP of the same name.

6. Cymbals Eat Guitars – ‘Definite Darkness’ and ‘Wavelengths’
New York indie rockers Cymbals Eat Guitars recently stopped by BBC Radio 6 and performed these two new songs live. Over at the band’s official Facebook page, they wrote of ‘Wavelengths’: “just wait for the psychedelic remix. it's going to blowwwwww minds... seriously.” We definitely can’t wait. Oh, and you can download ‘Plainclothes’ and ‘Tunguska’ from there for free, as well.

7. The Morning Benders – ‘Ram On’ (Paul McCartney cover)
The Morning Benders have just released another great covers mix (‘Echomix 2’), and this time, it’s got a short little Paul McCartney cover. Head over to Stereogum for a free download of the entire mix, as well as the Macca cover.

8. Sound Of Guns – ‘'My White Noise' (Live In Liverpool, May 2010)
Liverpool’s Sound Of Guns are offering this free download of ‘My White Noise’, live in their hometown at The Haigh. The band’s single ‘Elementary Of Youth’ is out today on Distiller Records, and they’ll be heading out on tour at the end of this month.

9. Professor Green feat. Example – ‘Monster’ (Camo & Krooked Remix)
And the remix of the week goes to drum and bass duo Camo & Krooked. This is the duo’s first dubstep release, and it’s out on Virgin on October 3rd, exclusively through iTunes.

10. Bleu – ‘Singin' In Tongues’
This free download comes to you from Bleu, aka William James Mcauley III. It’s taken from his fourth album titled ‘Four’ (out October 25th via LoJinx Records), which was funded by £17,000 raised in one week by his fans through DIY fundraising site Kickstarter.
