Brooklyn's The So So Glos deal in the most urgent, unfuckwithable pop-punk this side of the Replacements: gritty garage anthems that blaze through huge hooks and chant-along vocals so catchy they should be quarantined. Formed of siblings Ryan and Alex Levine, half-brother Zach Staggers on drums and childhood friend Matt Elkin on guitar, this literal band of brothers formed in 2007 but hit a stunning new peak on fourth album 'Blowout', released over a year ago in the States. That record's finally secured a UK release, hitting shelves next Monday (May 19), but you don't need to wait till then to bask in its rowdy brilliance. Check it out in full below and be sure to read John Calvert's review in this week's NME. Happy listening...
