Until recently, Cage & Aviary meant only Britain’s sole weekly bird keeping title (published by NME.COM’s parents IPC Media it’s a wealth of insight on the aviculture world with an emphasis on avian news and available from all good newsagents). Now, though, our treasured publication / awards ceremony joke butt has had its name nicked and currently acts as a Google sparring partner to DFA’s electronic protegees.

In a bid to knock out the budgie-loving title once and for all the Bermondsey duo have turned their remix hands to We Have Band, adding DFA-friendly cowbell and generally restructuring and elongating the entire song’s DNA, which all the best remixes do.

We Have Band

We Have Band, meanwhile, are djing Post War Years' album launch at the Lexington in London tomorrow, followed by a million gigs including four different stages at Glastonbury. They'll also be appearing at - and making an iota more bearable - IOW and V. ‘You Came Out’ is released by Kill Em All on June 15th, with an accompanying video currently undergoing the finishing touches. Judging by these screen shots from the shoot it will be a bizarre affair.
