1. White Denim – ‘Anvil Everything’
Earlier this month, White Denim revealed a free download of ’Drug’. Now, hot off a slew of SXSW gigs, they’ve unleashed another free song from the new album (‘D’, out June 6th) over at their official website. Following their mini hiatus, Dwight Denham revealed that his band wanted their new music to sound a bit harder, and we’re quite enjoying this new direction.

2. Ponytail – ‘Easy Peasy’
Baltimore’s Ponytail are getting ready to release their third full length album, ‘Do Whatever You Want All the Time’ – featuring an equally happy-go-lucky-titled track ‘Easy Peasy’. If this song doesn’t brighten up your Monday and make you long for summer, cider and sun, then you’re probably just made of stone.

3. Thao & Mirah feat. tUnE-yArDs – ‘Eleven’
We’ve been raving about the latest releases from Merrill Garbus/tUnE-yArDs, and now she’s collaborated on another golden nugget of music with San Francisco duo Thao (Nguyen) & Mirah. Their self-titled debut album, also co-produced by Garbus, is due out at the end of April via Kill Rock Stars.

4. Warpaint – ‘Undertow’ (Javelin Remix)
We haven’t heard much from Warpaint lately, but the band just posted this brand new Javelin remix of their hit single ‘Undertow’ on their website. Just as blissfully beautiful as the original, only with a bit more clapping and thump. You can order a special red vinyl 12" of Warpaint's 'Shadows', exclusively at the new Rough Trade Records online store, which features this remix as a b-side.

5. Meat Puppets – ‘Damn Thing’
It’s lucky number 13 for rock legends Meat Puppets, who will be releasing their 13th album, ‘Lollipop’, on April 12th through Megaforce Records. We’re seeing a return of the trio’s classic psychadelic guitar sound in this Curt Kirwood-produced full-length, recorded in Austin, Texas (where the band also just showcased their new material for the first time at SXSW). You can also take a look at the album artwork at the download link below – which features some weird rainbow toilet gremlin holding a lollipop.

6. MSTRKRFT – ‘Beards Again’
The hottest new track to hit the web this week comes from Canadian duo MSTRKRFT. On the verge of releasing their third album, they surprised us all and dropped a new track from the album on their official website a few days ago. Like beards? Like music sopping in hot electro beats? Then download ‘Beards Again’ for free.

7. Diamond Rings, Dom, Revolver – Astralwerks SXSW 2011 Sampler
If you (like me) didn’t make it down to sunny Texas for South By Southwest, then you’re probably a little bitter that you missed out on a surprise performance from Jack White and the first 2011 festival appearance from The Strokes. But at least we can get a few freebie songs from NYC-based record label Astralwerks. Download this trio of tracks from Diamond Rings, Dom and Revolver, who all played at the Austin music festival.

8. Operator Please – ‘Catapult’
If you missed Operator Please’s second album, ‘Gloves’, then we advise you to pick up a copy. Kicking off with ‘Catapult’ (a song which RCRDLBL.com is kindly giving away for free), ‘Gloves’ is one big sugary Aussie-pop kiss. Advance apologies if this song is stuck in your head for the next week.

9. The Violet May – ‘What You Say’
Fun fact about Sheffield-based five-piece The Violet Mays: frontman Chris McClure was the guy on the cover of the Arctic Monkeys debut album, ‘Whatever You Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’. (And he’s also the brother of John McClure of Reverend & The Makers.) These Club NME alums captured the attention of former Jesus & Mary Chain member Douglas Hart, and now they’re capturing ours. Check out ‘What You Say’ below.

10. Waka Flocka Flame feat. French Montana, YG Hootie, Joe Moses and Baby Bomb – ‘TTG (Trained To Go)’
For a rapper named Waka Flocka Flame, it’s not surprising he can come up with an equally awesome album title. ‘Flockaveli’ is due out in the UK later this year, and it features this track he made with a whole gang of other artists. You can also score his new single, ‘No Hands’ (featuring Roscoe Dash and Wale), on April 18th.
