So the Sony Radio Awards took place last night, doffing caps and presenting gongs to various luminaries of the radio world, from Speech Radio Personality Of The Year (Danny Baker) to Breakfast Show Of The Year (Five Live).

The headline news was that Ronnie Wood topped the list for Music Radio Personality Of The Year for Absolute Radio, nudging ahead of 6 Music’s Jarvis and thankfully batting fuzz-faced whale Chris Moyles way into third. Zane Lowe picked one up too, for Music Broadcaster Of The Year.
