Another round of free MP3 downloads from across the Web, this week we've got tracks from Young Rebel Set, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Four Tet, Blitzen Trapper and more.

1. Young Rebel Set – ‘If I Was’
Young Rebel Set are offering up a free MP3 download of this new summertime track on their website, in exchange for your email address. It’s only available for a limited time, though, so be quick. Good, old-fashioned indie folk with simple love-smitten words like “If I was a writer, I would write the book on you” and “If I was a painter I’d paint portraits of you” make this a track you don’t want to miss.

9. Cold Cave – ‘Life Magazine (Delorean Remix)’

California never ceases to produce great new music. Here we’ve got indie-pop-rock band Social Studies from San Francisco. Their album Wind Up Wooden Heart, including this infectiously catchy number, hits stores at the end of July. And don’t worry, unlike social studies class, this is actually fun.
