After working at GRM daily, the UK’s largest urban culture website, gaining over 100 million hits on their content, Phil became the co-founder of London’s youth culture media company Disrupt in 2013.

In Phil’s words “We founded Disrupt because we care about youth culture – especially how brands can use it creatively to reach and engage their audiences”, as shown through their work with some of the UK’s top brands. Disrupt have worked with Tinchy Stryder and Currys to launch a range of headphones, independently releasing a UK top 20 album and co-creating the first ever Grime Awards with KA Drinks. Disrupt cares about forming authentic partnerships and creative effective campaigns to be at the forefront of modern youth culture influencing and understanding changing tastes and beliefs.
