Pick up this week's issue of NME and you'll read writer Al Horner waxing lyrical about our New Band Of The Week, The Acid, who are something of an electronic supergroup (what with them being Ry 'Ry X' Cuming, Adam Freeland and Steve Nalepa).
Aside from checking out this exclusive live video of the band ahead of their show at Cargo in London on Monday (June 2), we've also included them in our latest new music playlist below.
As usual, it's made up of acts we've written about in this weeks issue – including Scottish newcomers White, Southsea's Kassassin Street and Austin's Spray Paint – who were chosen as this week's Band Crush by Protomartyr frontman Joe Casey.
He said this about them: "Spray Paint are a band we have toured with. They make very minimal punk. It’s really got a little bit of an Austin thing to it, a little twangy, but it’s its own kind of beast. All three of them sing, sometimes at the same time. They’ve got several songs about dumpsters."
