Despite releasing only a handful of singles, South London’s InHeaven are fast becoming one of the most irresistible bands on the scene. Their mix of atmospheric indie anthems, soaring guitars and catchy songwriting is reminiscent of Wolf Alice a few years back and with any luck, they’ll follow a similar path to stardom.
After finishing a nationwide tour supporting garage-rockers Yak, which included an impressive and well-attended set at Camden Dingwalls last night, the four-piece have given NME the video premiere for ‘Meat Somebody’.
The track serves as a B-side to latest single ‘Baby’s Alright’, and it’s full of the same lofty ambitions that gave the group their break on debut track ‘Regeneration’. The video is a dizzying affair, but the band insist that it was intentional: “We wanted our audience to feel part of the artwork, as if they were in one of our fanzines.”
Watch the video for ‘Meat Somebody’ below and catch them on the road on at shows all across the country.
