New Music Of The Day: Telegram – Taffy Come Home (Premiere)

So say Telegram about their new single – their first release in aeons. The track utilises everything we love about the band – a rich, pulverising melody that sounds as compressed and tight as prime-time Buzzcocks, and a healthy nod to Roxy Music courtesy of frontman Matt Saunders.

“We’ve been recording the album in the Lightship 95 studio,” the band add in an update to us, “working behind the scenes to put it out ourselves. It’s released the first week of February and then we head out on our UK tour.”

Ahead of that on January 22 is the release of ‘Taffy Come Home’. Stream it below:
