Our About to Break band in this week's NME are the excellent Savages – a London fourpiece who we've been following closely for the past few months, from tiny gigs in London basements to - more recently - a much larger stage at Brighton's Corn Exchange (where we had them play an NME show at The Great Escape).

Anyway, the track above is their first properly-recorded song to hit the web. It's called 'Husbands', it's a cracker…

It's released as a double a-side ('Flying to Berlin'/'Husbands') through singer Jehn’s Pop Noire label as a download on 28 May, with a limited 7” planned for later in June.

Check out our interview with the band in the magazine (out nationwide on May 23), where we ask them all kinds of stuff. Namely: How good they think they really are, being primeval and which one of them once trained to become an airline pilot.
