Radar Recommends: Zun Zun Egui

"SEXY WORM WENT AND GOT THE BIRD!" Never mind Wild Beasts and their elegiac romance - Bristolian tropical thrashers Zun Zun Egui are serving up some rather flavoursome ponderings on love'n'shit in their new song, 'Fandango Fresh', the video for which they've kindly given us as an exclusive. (Just kidding, Beasts, I love you with all my stone dead heart.)

'Fandango Fresh' - which is a state of mind I intend to adopt henceforth - has the playful, scrunchy guitars of Deerhoof, and lurches between joyous, ululating street song and videogame-appropriate swirling abysses. Plus the video captures the spirit of Zun Zun Egui perfectly: daft, colourful, and guaranteed to bring a grin to your chops (unless you're one of the humourless hipsters in the clip snaring the band on fishing rods, the meaning for which eludes us completely...). On October 3, they're finally set to release their debut album, 'Katang', through Bella Union, but in the meantime, have the bonkers video for their new single.
