Here's an anomaly for you: a posh sounding fella in a band who isn't pretending to come across all skint and oiky.

Filthy Boy are from south-London, and have two people in them surnamed Morrissey. I can't tell if their lyrics are more brilliant or banal ("You look as pretty through the window," goes one song, "magnificently kneeling between those men"), but I think Moz himself would probably be into them. Probably.

Anyway, I haven't heard someone sing with as much dependence on sounding resolutely English since Franz's Alex Kapranos as this lot. See here:
