Radar caught approximately ten minutes of Zulu's set supporting Iceage shortly before Christmas - but what we saw was both intense and enticing. The same kind of exciting, in fact, as the first time we saw that night's headliners for the first time...

The London fivepiece formed late last year, uploaded a few demos to Wayofthezulu.com, played a load more dive bar shows, homemade some t-shirts and - oh yes - ordered some band branded stickers.

Right now, with The Men, Iceage, Cerebral Ballzy and Milk Music ruling the rock roost, they've got exactly the right chops to demand their own space on that particular pedestal. And they'll start to do it soon, no doubt, having just announced a nine track tape to be released by the (always dependable) Stroll On label in March.
