Radar Tip Of The Day 134: Melody’s Echo Chamber

I’ll be honest, I could quite happily emigrate to Australia right this second. The place seems to be bleeding amazing bands, and – as a few people have said – if Perth was actually in London or NYC, the likes of Tame Impala might well be Muse-big by now. Anyway, I’ll get to the point shall I? Meet Melody’s Echo Chamber.

They’re actually part-based in France, where singer Melody Prochet (above) comes from, but their September-bound debut album was recorded with Kevin Parker (leader of the aforementioned Tame) back in Oz. They’ve just put the latest song from it online, ‘Endless Shore’ – and what’s more it arrives alongside a cover from Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Both are worth your time, alongside the firecracker that is ‘Crystallized’, which MEC put online a few weeks ago:
