Single Mothers excite us. Not only do they have a brilliant name, but the London, Ontario fourpiece's new single sounds like a classic slice of post-punk recklessness. It is variously: ferocious, brooding, off-kilter, brimming with fiery hunger and, er, weirdly hummable.
Their backstory is great – formed at high school, took local scene by storm, split to become adults, realized that was shit, reformed and – WHAM – are now starting to pick up national and international attention. We hope to see them in England soon.
