Cheatahs first caught our eye back in May, when they supported Milk Music at one of their London gigs. Since then they've inked a deal with Wichita and nabbed some support slots with labelmates The Cribs.

They've got members of Male Bonding and Weird Dreams in the line up, but don't really sound much like either of those bands. Melody's the key, but they back it up with some of the best riffage we've heard from a Brit band in a while. 'The Swan', above, even sounds like 'Stay With Me' by The Faces for a split second at the start (though we're pretty sure that's not intentional). It's the lead track from their forthcoming SANS EP (out November 26).
