The word 'sleazy' at some point over during the Nineties seemingly got co-opted by 'tudey 'rawk chicks' with a penchant for the beatier side of life, resulting in a real heyday for post-industrial snarling girly party sounds.

Shortly after that, sleazy became a completely unacceptable adjective to describe any sort of music. Foe's calling time on the armistice, with a love of big jagged guitars, drawling melodies and glitching kick-drums:
