Radar Tip Of The Day 36: Pallers

By Jonathan Garrett

Posted on 23 Jun 11

Pallers are a mysteriously reclusive duo from the snowswept outpost of Stockholm, Sweden.

Signed to Labrador since 2008, they have only a limited edition EP, two singles, and no doubt a hell of an expense tab. Fortunately, their credit extended just long enough to complete their meticulously-assembled debut album 'The Sea of Memories', and today's first taster from it proves that last year's New Order-enamored single, 'The Kiss' was no fluke.

The pair continue to display a preternatural gift for electronic pop, and while they may prefer to remain ensconced in the studio and avoid the limelight, the expansive 'Come Rain, Come Sunshine' stands as a sky-scrapingly grand gesture.
